One of the two 1918 American LaFrance Type 31-4 2-wheel tractors was applied to a 1908 Ahrens-Fox steamer and assigned to Engine 4. Here is the rig circa 1921 when it was newly assigned to Engine 15.

Work began in 1916 to convert this 1913 White chassis (a former police truck) into a hose wagon. With a large deck gun mounted on its side the rig was assigned to Hose 8 at Station 8 at 8th & Minnesota Streets.

The aftermath of the Groff Paper Company fire at 1049 Raymond Avenue. The building burned to a shell on September 27,1944. Engine 20’s 1920 Seagrave is still pumping.
